📅 When is it?

Saturday 21st June 2025

📍Where is it?

Croyde Beach, North Devon in conjunction with the epic Goldcoast Oceanfest music, surf and beach sports festival.

🏝️🏐 What sort of tournament is it?

A competitive yet social beach netball tournament. Emphasis is on having fun! 🤩

🤷🏽‍♀️ Who can enter?

This is an 14+ female only tournament. No affiliations to clubs or EN needed. It’s all about competitive fun, so get your squad together!

*Players aged 14-18 years old should have previous experience of playing netball and play to a school or club level.

🙋🏻‍♀️ How many players can we have in a team?

Teams can have a maximum of 8 players, with 5 players on court at any one time and rolling substitutions.

💷 How much is it to enter?

Team Entry is £120 per team (maximum 8 players per team)

🙋🏼‍♀️ Do I need to bring any equipment?

No equipment needed, just turn up on the beach with your squad and get ready to have lots of fun!

🎶 Do I need a ticket to Oceanfest to enter the netball tournament?

The beach netball tournament is a separate event. If you would like to gain entry into Oceanfest festival, tickets can be purchased separately via their website.

Trophy and medals for winners & runners up!

T&C’s IMPORTANT:

OCEANFEST

Tickets for the Beach Netball Tournament do not include entry to Oceanfest Festival. These must be purchased separately.

ACCOMMODATION & TRAVEL/TRANSPORT

If you book accommodation, transport and/or travel tickets for your whole party, including players, families, coaches, and supporters- at no time are Island Beach Netball responsible for these accommodation and travel costs in the case of event cancellation or rescheduling.

CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULES

If the event is cancelled due to extreme weather conditions out of our control, we will look to reschedule. Entry fees will be non-refundable as alternative event dates will be offered. The organiser will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

INSURANCE

Island Beach Netball as a partner of Elite Beach Sports (EBS) are covered for ‘Public Liability’ insurance. However, this does not cover individual teams or ‘person to person’ public liability, personal accident or injury whilst attending our events and or weekly clubs/sessions. We strongly recommend that all participating teams, if they are not already covered, take out insurance cover for these risks. We also strongly recommend all members of your party take out appropriate travel and importantly medical insurance if competing.

FORCE MAJEURE

We do not accept liability for any loss, damage or expense arising from a change or cancellation to the event which occurs due to unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control and that of our partners. Such events would include, for example, war, threat of war, riots, civil strife, pandemics, industrial disputes, terrorist activity, fire or adverse weather conditions, natural or nuclear disaster, or similar events beyond our control.

ISLAND BEACH NETBALL & EBS CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR:

The conduct, behaviour and actions of other teams attending the event. The Island Beach Netball Code of Conduct will be shared in the Captain's Information pack before the event.

Loss of property and damage to property/vehicles at our event, session and or festival pitch venues.

Vehicles are driven to and parked at festival venues at the owner’s risk.

RULES

Rules and regulations for the tournament will be sent to all Captains in advance by email in the form of a Captain's Information Pack.
