On Sunday 31st August, Beacon is running a wellbeing dog walk to highlight the wellbeing benefits of meeting new people, being surrounded by nature and spending time with our furry friends. We are running this event to raise desperately needed funds for Beacon to continue being a lifeline for children, young people and adults across Stockport and Greater Manchester.

We will be meeting outside Pear Mill Vintage Emporium, SK6 2BP at 10am. You are able to grab a drink or light bite from the Pear Mill Vintage Tea Rooms (opening at 9:30). We'll go over some health and safety at 10am, aiming to start our walk towards Woodbank Park shortly after! We carry on through Dark Lane until we get to the Jim Fearnley Bridge. After crossing, we will follow the River Goyt back up towards The Vintage Tea Rooms, where we will end our walk with an opportunity to head inside and buy a brew and a teacake.

Become a part of Beacon's Dogs and bring your dog to the event! Starting with Buffy the Golden Doodle, then we have Doris, Loki, Mona and Selwyn. Ending with an honourable mention to Oaky, the inspiration behind this event 🐶☀️
