Event description

Description

Back by popular demand, Paul Glover is returning to deliver a hands-on workshop to help musicians improve their timing, groove and feel.

Paul has worked with a wide range of artists across many genres, including Scroobius Pip, B.Dolan, Pure Reason Revolution, Tiny Giant, Lisa Knapp, Izo Fitroy, Red Kite. His reputation as a solid, versatile and hard-working drummer has brought him huge success, including international tours, major festival appearances, and national radio and television appearances.

IT'S TIME TO IMPROVE YOUR RHYTHM!
Experience rhythm in a way you’ve never considered before and learn to improve your timing, groove and feel to become a more confident reader and performer.

The good news is that rhythm isn’t a superhuman ability you’re born with or without, it is something you can learn. This is a crash course in rhythm that would make any drummer jealous; disregard pitch and melody to focus on your understanding of rhythm, feel the pulse and become aware of the spaces between beats, learn to recognise rhythms of increasing complexity and conquer offbeats!
