Description

This FREE Train the Trainer course is designed for community settings, such as school, care homes and anywhere hygiene and microbe awareness is important. It is fun, interactive and informative. The attendees will learn about microbes and how they are spread; how to stop the spread and personal hygiene and self care. It is a 3 hour course and will enable the attendees to either train others or use elements of the package to inform and educate others. There are elements that can be used with both adults and children.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?


It is designed for adults, but the content can be shared with both children or adults.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?


There is a train station about 10 minutes walk from the venue. There is free on site parking.

What can I bring into the event?


If you prefer to bring your own drinks, that is fine. Ordinary tea and coffee will be available with cows milk. There will be a limited variety of snacks

Do I need to prepare for the training?

There is a some pre reading. This is designed to provide some background to what is learned during the session. It is not onerous, but will enhance your understanding.

What happens next?

Once you have signed up for the training, you will recieve an agenda and the pre reading sheet.

If you decide you would like to become a Train the Trainer, there is a short test at the end of the training session. This will be sent off to Public Health England, who mark it and send out the certificates. This normally takes about a week. You also have the choice of being added to the e-Bug website as a validated trainer.
