An exclusive opportunity on the autumnal equinox to enjoy a seminar with Dr Norman Rosenthal, the world-renowned researcher and psychiatrist who first diagnosed Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and pioneered light therapy to treat it. Dr Rosenthal is also a best-selling author (Winter Blues, Transcendence, The Gift of Adversity and Super Mind).

Dr Rosenthal will present the latest developments in the area of light therapy for SAD as well as other applications for light therapy. He will also provide an overview of other non-conventional approaches to well-being including Transcendental Meditation and Botox.

The seminar will be geared towards both practitioners and the educated lay person, who are interested in learning more about winter depression. Dr Rosenthal will be pleased to answer your questions.

The SAD Equinox Seminar will take place at an intimate venue overlooking Russell Square in Central London with limited places. The day includes a sandwich lunch and refreshments.

The event is being organised by light therapy companies Lumie and The SAD Lightbox Company . Please note that any profit from the event will be donated to SADA, the UK's only non-commercial support organisation for SAD.


When is registration open on the day of the event?

Please arrive any time from 09:30 onwards. Coffee and tea will be served on arrival. Please note the event will start promptly at 10:00 am.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is no parking. Russell Square Underground station is the nearest to the venue (approximately 5 minutes' walk).

What's the refund policy?

Cancellations up to Friday 25 August 2017: full refund.

Cancellations up to Friday 8 September 2017: 50% refund.

Cancellations from Saturday 9 September to 22nd September 2017: no refund.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes - no admittance without a printed ticket.

Can I update my registration information?

Yes you can. Please email with any amendments by 10:00 am on Thursday 21st September at the latest .

Is my registration fee or ticket transferable?

Yes it is. Please email with the details of the person to whom you would like the ticket transferred. We will need their full name, email address and contact phone number. The deadline is 10:00 am on Thursday 21st September.

Is it OK if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

No it isn't. Please advise us of any name changes by 10:00 am on Thursday 21st September at the latest by emailing the details to
