Our accomplished panellists will share their unique insights and experiences, providing the audience with an exclusive understanding of their musical journeys thus far.

Mwen (Artist, they/them)

Mwen has been working creatively with sound for many years as a multifaceted artist, producer, composer, DJ, and session musician. Their pratice spans music technology, electronic music, live sound, and performance. With compositions and productions receiving acclaim on platforms like BBC Radio and endorsements from influential DJs, Mwen's sonic expertise extends to sound design and composing for various mediums, most recently for theatre and film. Currently an in-house Ableton tutor, a tutor at The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP) and an artist in residence at the University of Birmingham, Mwen is at the forefront of pushing boundaries in the electronic music scene.

Mya Mehmi (Artist, she/her)

London-based artist, cultural producer, and DJ, Mya Mehmi, stands out for her electrifying performances at renowned spaces like Glastonbury, KOKO, and Fabric. This year, Mya released her acclaimed self-produced song ‘Parivaar (Interlude)’ which became Clash Magazine’s Track of The Day and saw her become the first trans woman to get playlisted on BBC Asian Network. Mya's prowess extends beyond the DJ booth; she is the force behind the podcast "Straight No Chaser By Mya Mehmi" exploring the relationship between trans women and cis men. Mya is also a producer of the iconic Pxssy Palace, (named DJ Mag's ‘Best Club Event’ 2022), which centres black and brown queer and trans folk.

Grace Sands (Artist, she/her)

Grace, a true veteran of the music scene, has traversed the depths of the electronic music world since the late '80s. One half of hip hop, funk, post-punk, disco and jazz-inspired DJ duo Digs & Woosh, Grace played a pivotal role in shaping the deep house sound. Throughout the 90s, Digs & Woosh travelled the world with connections established on the free party scene, playing across the US, Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Now based in London, Grace runs her own label, "Sands of Time", and reguarly guests on radio shows for NTS, Rinse, FoundationFM and Netil, and is a joint host of the ADONIS NTS show.
