CALLING ALL CREATIVES, CHANGE-MAKERS AND COMMUNITY LEADERS IN EAST LONDON'S MUSIC SCENE.

This is the second in a series of music networking events in 2025 hosted by True Cadence!!

Beats & Boroughs by True Cadence is a dynamic music network designed to connect and empower young people, artists, music leaders, and organisations using music for social impact. Rooted in East London, the network fosters collaboration, amplifies opportunities, and strengthens pathways into the music industry. Join the network!

AI is everywhere right now. But for many of us working in music with young people, it still feels a bit unfamiliar. What does it really mean for creativity, for learning, and for the work we do in communities? CTRL + ALT + CREATE is a space for organisations, music leaders, educators and young people to come together and explore how AI is showing up in our sector. Not as a buzzword, but as something we can understand, question, and possibly use in a way that feels right for us.

What to Expect:

  • AI in Music Making: Explore how artists and producers are using AI to create and collaborate, and where the creative line gets blurred.
  • AI in Fundraising: Learn how AI is supporting bid writing for small organisations. We’ll look at what helps, what to avoid, and how to keep your voice in the process.
  • Ethics and Ownership: Who owns AI-generated music? What happens when humans and machines co-create? We’ll unpack the key issues.
  • Open Conversation: Ask questions, share experiences, and learn together in a welcoming, honest space.

Who It’s For:

  • Youth music organisations
  • Community music leaders and facilitators
  • Music educators and practitioners
  • Young creatives and curious minds

Your Hosts:

  • Manny Loveankh - Founder, CEO and Creative Practitioner (True Cadence)

Organized by

True Cadence is a multi-award-winning nonprofit music organisation creating spaces where young people can thrive through creativity, connection and culture. Rooted in East London and shaped by lived experience, we use music as a tool for personal growth, skill-building and social change. From songwriting and performance to music therapy and industry training, our programmes are co-designed with the communities we serve.

We work with emerging artists, music leaders, and grassroots organisations to support the next generation - especially those often left out of traditional creative pathways. Whether it's live events, online conversations or hands-on workshops, every space we create is about expression, opportunity and impact.
