This engaging hands-on class introduces the essentials of everyday breadmaking. It’s a course close to our heart, taught by our passionate tutor and baker Mariella Bliss who believes in the value of good bread made simply. You’ll learn how basic ingredients—flour, water, salt, and yeast—come together to create a variety of breads suitable for daily use, covering the principles such as fermentation, gluten development, and shaping techniques. Participants will make a variety of loaves, Focaccia and filled rolls using a range of flours and approachable methods that can be easily applied at home. Suitable for all levels, the class is designed to build confidence in baking bread as part of everyday cooking.
