Working in collaboration with Zayed University College of Arts and Creative Enterprises, Cranleigh Abu Dhabi is hosting an exhibition to showcase the exceptional calligraphy works of Narjes Noureddine.
Currently a fourth year student at Zayed University College of Arts and Creative Enterprises, Narjes uses Arabic poetry to create her paintings and three-dimensional works in both traditional and abstract forms of calligraphy. At the centre of her exhibition, Narjes will be creating a new commission in response H.H. Sheikh Zayed’s poem, Beautiful World.

Khaironnesa "Narjes" Noureddine

Narjes Noureddine’s exquisite calligraphy work has been exhibited at the Sharjah Institute for Arabic Calligraphy in 2000, and the Calligraphers’ Studios, where she studied under one of renowned masters of calligraphy, Khaled Al Saai. Khaironnesa has thoroughly studied the Thuluth and the Nastaliq Calligraphy styles and was awarded an international prize in the Mir Imad International Calligraphy Competition in the "Jali Al Diwani" style in Istanbul and also in Algeria’s International Cultural Calligraphy Festival – Tlemcen. She has held many open and public calligraphy workshops and has participated in local and international exhibitions since 2001, organised by Dubai Department of Tourism and Sharjah Department of Education, as well as other local parties
