Join us for the Beck Wood Bat Walk!
Part of Keighley Walking Festival 2025
Get ready for an evening of adventure as we explore the fascinating world of bats at Beck Wood.
Ian Butterfield from Yorgreen CIC will lead you on a journey around the edges of the woodland, a location with less light pollution and ideal for observation
Bats are seen at sunset because it is the time they emerge from their roosts to forage for food, with their activity peaking in the first hour after sunset
Sunset time on Wednesday 17th September is 7:19PM
Bat detectors will be made available. Please where clothes suitable for the outdoors and changable weather.
