Become a TNBC champion: free CPD webinar for nurses
Make a difference in TNBC care
Triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) accounts for around 10-15% of all breast cancers. This type of breast cancer differs significantly from others in terms of treatment, prognosis, and patient experience.
Building on the success of our study days, RCNi and UK Charity for Triple Negative Breast Cancer invite you to join the first of two expert-led webinars designed to equip you with the latest TNBC knowledge and tools to help you become a TNBC champion.
Eligibility to become a TNBC Champion
In order to qualify to become part of our Breast Cancer Nurse Specialists Champions programme, attendees must attend both webinars.
· Please only register if you can attend both events.
· If you are unable to attend the second webinar, please contact eventsupport@rcni.com to discuss your options.
If you attended Part 1 on the 19th, you’re automatically registered for Part 2 on the 15th.
This session is ideal for breast cancer nurse specialists who couldn’t attend our in-person study days. However, any healthcare professional with an interest in TNBC is welcome.
Why attend?
TNBC is aggressive and more likely to spread, which makes your role as a nurse more critical than ever. With treatments evolving fast, this is your chance to:
· Stay up to date with emerging TNBC treatments, care and complexities.
· Gain confidence in managing a cancer more likely to metastasise.
· Access ongoing support to lead TNBC knowledge sharing in your team.
· Help ensure patients with TNBC receive the best possible care.
Take the first step to championing TNBC care.
This interactive webinar will arm you with the latest knowledge and skills to become a TNBC champion in your nursing team.
Our speakers include:
-Professor Susanne Cruickshank, Strategic Lead for Applied Health Research, The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust
-Sarah Adomah, Lead breast cancer nurse specialist, The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust
-Robin Woolcock, Founder and Chairman, UK Charity for Triple Negative Breast Cancer
