Are you interested in taking action to protect international development?

Media headlines are increasingly attacking UK overseas aid. We’re told that we can’t help people at home if we help people in need abroad, UK aid doesn’t work, and the British public don't support it. These messages then spread even further on social media, but they are simply not true. We know for a fact that the number of people in the world living in extreme poverty HAS HALVED since 1990 - and we've got to get the good news out there!

It’s time to answer back. We’re pulling together a team of activists (codename: #UKAid Ninjas), to respond to these attacks effectively, and testify to the importance of UK aid.

By joining this session you’ll learn the simple answers to seemingly complex questions, find out how our team of UK Aid Ninjas work, learn how to engage with MPs, journalists and aid sceptics online in a positive way, and meet like-minded people ready to stand up for aid!

We will hold a monthly training session - each session will provide the full training required, so once you have attended a session you won't need to attend subsequent sessions. All digital activists and international development supporters welcome!
