My Story

At my 20 week scan we found out our baby, Freddie now 7, would have special needs and disabilities.

This was the start of constant meetings with medical professionals, Neurologists, Paediatricians, GP's and therapists etc. Then followed the educational meetings with multiple professionals.

I was so worried, fearful, anxious and exhausted that I used to leave the meetings non the wiser and more frustrated. Does this sound familiar?

I was so stressed I started to become really unwell. I ended up in the Neurologists office myself. This was my turning point. Things had to change.

I began using techniques and tips from coaching, researching and mentors. I am now more in control, have a positive outlook, a better emotional resilience and I get my voice heard every time.

If you can relate to this, join us for the How To Be A Velvet Bulldozer Workshop to learn the skills you need to be empowered, confident, calm and achieve what you need for you and your child.

TESTIMONIALS

"I attended Aimee’s recent workshop empowering parents in advocating for their special needs child ‘ how to be a velvet bulldozer’. It would be difficult to believe that Aimee didn’t know the audience prior to the meeting as she spoke so well and connected with every parent there. Such good advice and techniques to support as well as compassion and understanding. Thank you Aimee for sharing your journey with us and helping us take the next steps forward." Julie

"I am a mum of two disabled boys under age of 5. I came across Aimee Mann mentoring through entrust care. I could instantly relate to Aimee because of her experiences as a mum and advocate for her son. I struggled with keeping track of appointments and chasing professionals and progressing the boys treatments. I also struggled with self care and feeling overwhelmed with the relentless demands placed on me as carer. I attended two of her workshops. 'Velvet bulldozer' helped me to focus on getting the most out of meetings with professionals by writing down beforehand what I wanted to say and what I needed them to action. 'Emotional resilience' helped me to prioritise self care and adjust perspective beyond drowning in the now. Aimee is an inspiration is many ways. She provides a much needed injection of positivity, reassurance, hope and holistic intelligence. I would thoroughly recommend her workshops. She never disappoints." Sonia
