Are you considering becoming a charity trustee and would like to find out more?
Trustees are at the heart of charitable organisations they lead and decide how they are run and ensure they stay committed to their goals and values. Competent, innovative and passionate trustees are crucial for charities to perform at their best, especially during such extraordinary times.
Research shows there are also great personal benefits to being a trustee. It’s a unique opportunity to sit with senior decision makers and get involved in every aspect of an organisation. Trusteeship can be an incredibly good way to enhance your employment prospects by building your skills and your CV and by becoming a leader in your community you will generally feel happier.
