Event description

Description

Attachment training for organisations working with young people who have been through the care system or who are estranged from their families / Hyfforddiant ymlyniad i fudiadau sy'n gweithio gyda phobl ifanc sydd wedi bod mewn gofal neu sy'n cael eu heithrio o'u teuluoedd.

The INSET will address the social, emotional and behavioural needs of vulnerable young people, especially care leavers and those adopted from care and the impact these needs can have on their ability to become more resilient, more self-sufficient and have the confidence to access appropriate support services.

By raising the capacity of staff and increasing their knowledge and confidence, the aim is to reduce the number of NEETS and raise the level of engagement with services.

The session will be delivered by Sharon Hughes and Kate Tabb of What About Me? Training. With over 30 years of secondary school teaching and 14 years of fostering, they have a wealth of experience of living and working on the front line with vulnerable young people.

Lunch will be provided.
