Becoming the Change Gathering
Overview
If you're someone who’s been working to make the world a better place - in sustainability, purpose-led business, social impact or systemic change - and you’ve started to feel a bit lost, worn out, or disconnected, you’re not alone.
If you are feeling like you aren't doing enough or that you are exhausted from doing too much and not seeing any changes. Or if you are feeling lonely, carrying the heavy emotional weight of the work or feeling disillusioned and questioning your direction and contribution, this is a space for you.
This gathering is a space for people who are feeling this way and who want to live, lead, and contribute in a meaningful and systemic way that feels energising, fulfilling and easeful.
This is a space to let go of the outer world problems and to gently look within, to see and understand what’s happening for you in the here and now - what personal challenges you are facing in your change work, what you want to work on and how you can become more of the person you want to be.
A space to explore what it means to lead authentically - to take off the mask, let down the walls and just be you. And connect with other people just being them.
A space to slow down, to pause and be present and to reconnect with yourself, others and your inner purpose.
A space to bring your whole self and explore who you want to be in these times.
This gathering is for changemakers who want to create real meaningful change to come together to just be, to practice being present and connecting more deeply with ourselves and others who are feeling similar so you can leave feeling calmer, more resourced and more connected.
What to expect at the gathering
We’ll start with a check in and grounding practice to help us settle and arrive. I'll briefly share what the gatherings are intended for and introduce a mindful theme for the session that will guide our exploration.
You’ll then connect in pairs and small groups to speak openly about what’s feeling alive, challenging or uncertain in your life or work right now and talk about how we can each move towards becoming the change we want to see.
There will be paired discussions, individual reflection time and group sharing. It will be a calm and welcoming space where you're invited to participate in whatever way feels right and real for you on the day.
Spaces will be limited so please book if you would like to join. Please arrive from 6:15pm for a 6:30pm start. There will be an option to join for a communal meal together at the venue after the gathering. We offer a sliding scale of ticket prices to support different financial situations. If cost is still a barrier and you’d like to join, please drop me a message on hello@heatherlynch.co.uk.

What is Becoming the Change?
Becoming the Change is a movement for people who want to create meaningful and systemic change in a way that feels energising, fulfilling and easeful.
It’s for changemakers who are passionate about contributing to a better future, but who are realising that the old ways of working - urgency, over-responsibility, perfectionism, burnout - aren’t sustainable.
It’s rooted in the belief that we change the world from the inside out. That we can create more meaningful impact when we create change from a place of self-awareness, emotional resilience, and authentic alignment.
Whether you're looking to find ease with the state of the world, to feel more confident and courageous, to feel more energised and fulfilled, to connect with people going through a similar experience, or to find a new way forward to make an impact, Becoming the Change is here to empower and resource you in navigating your own unique journey.
"I believe that when we are deeply connected to ourselves, others and the world around us, we create change from a place of love, presence, and authenticity, and this is the way we create a more beautiful future where all beings thrive. And it begins here, now and within." Heather Lynch, founder of Becoming the Change
