PUTTING USERS FIRST - Achieving Public Sector Reform through Design


The Bureau of European Design Associations (BEDA) invites you to attend the first BEDA Insight Forum in Brussels on 25th November 2015.

Putting Users First will offer compelling insights on how design thinking and design methods can drive next generation service design and public sector renewal.

Andrea Siodmok (Head of Policy Lab at the UK Cabinet Office) will highlight examples of user-centred service design being applied in Government today.

Peter Dröll (Acting Director, Innovation Union and European Research Area) and Mark Nicklas (Deputy Head of Unit, Innovation Policy and Investment for Growth) of the European Commission, will discuss the potential of design-driven, user-centred innovation for better European policy-making.


When: Wednesday, 9th December 2015. Doors open 9am with a light breakfast. Proceedings begin 09:30. Ends 11:30am followed by a networking coffee.
