Postponed: Bedford Kite & Motoring Festival in the heart of Bedford

About this event

**The Bedford Kite and Motoring Festival is being postponed, and the Council is hoping to arrange it for a later date this year, depending on ongoing Government guidance around coronavirus and when it is safe to do for all. The Council will keep traders, exhibitors, local residents and businesses informed.**

Located on the beautiful Embankment in the heart of Bedford, The Bedford Festival of Motoring is returning for its 2nd year on the 13th & 14th June 2020. Again this event will sit alongside the ever-popular Bedford Kite Festival and is now re-branded as the Bedford Kite & Motoring Festival to encompass all of the activities and exhibitions taking place over the weekend.

This exciting Festival taking place on Russell Park and the surrounding riverside parkland is expected to attract an audience of over 30,000 visitors! Our aim once again is to welcome a wide variety of classic and unique vehicles. Cars, commercial, agricultural, military, public transport, steam, competition, off-road, emergency services, motorcycles, bicycles, virtually anything on wheels will be considered!

If you have a special vehicle, by virtue of its age, rarity, looks, performance or history and would like it to be part of this very popular Bedford event, please register, so that you don’t miss out!

Offering something for everyone, whether you're a motoring enthusiast or simply looking for a fun-filled family day out this is a fantastic event for your 2020 calendar.

Bookings are now open for you to register to display your vehicle. Prices as follows:

Individual Vehicles - £8 per vehicle for a weekend ticket or £5 for a day ticket (Saturday - Sunday)

If you have a special vehicle, by virtue of its age, rarity, looks, performance or history and would like it to be part of this very popular Bedford event, we welcome you to register.

Individual Motorcycles/scooters - £4 for a weekend ticket only

Entry will be at The Festival's discretion to avoid over duplication of any particular marque or model.

N.B. you may be invited to join the fabulous fifty cavalcade on receipt of your registration.
