Bedford’s Biggest Summer Party will take place in Bedford Park featuring an amazing line up specifically put together for Bedford!! For one night only 7 live acts who will take you through a journey from the 80’s into the 90’s!

From Jason Donovan, who was the ultimate 80’s heart-throb. Jason commanded an audience of 22 million in ‘Neighbours’, dated Kylie and went on to score no fewer than 16 hit singles and sell over 30 million records worldwide. Jason will be performing live in Bedford Park and we expect a stampede of Donovan fans at our gates.

We also have Go West (with full band), whose most iconic hit ‘King of Wishful Thinking’ became a smash chart success when it featured in ‘Pretty Woman’ starring Julia Roberts, they also had their classic hit ‘We Close Our Eyes’, ‘One Way Street’ as featured in Rocky IV. The band have continued to have success and are one of the busiest touring bands of the 80’s.

The hits keep coming with another legendary 80’s icon Nik Kershaw (With full band). 1985 saw three hit singles, a world tour and an appearance in ‘Live Aid’. Nik also penned a number one hit for Chesney Hawkes ‘The One and Only’ and Elton John has described him as ‘the best songwriter of a generation’.

The party continues into the 90’s with some of the most iconic live acts of the era that dominated the club floors and continue to this day to be featured on club classic compilations. The acts include Livin’ Joy whose club hit ‘Dreamer’ is sure to get the party revellers dancing the night away along with ‘Don’t Stop Movin’. Other acts include Baby D whose ‘Let Me Be Your Fantasy’ was on everyone’s 90’s playlist. Rozalla’s feel good anthem ‘Everybody’s Free’ will add to the atmosphere creating a party on feel good zone.

What better act to tie the two eras’ together than legendary DJ Dave Pearce with his epic dance anthems set.

Dave Pearce is the creator and original presenter of BBC Radio 1’s Dance Anthems and has been a driving force in the UK Dance Scene for many years. Renowned for his energetic uplifting and anthemic “big room” sets incorporating Trance/Electro house and Progressive interwoven with reworked classics and also for his Trance Anthems and Pure Trance sets.
Dave Pearce has sold over 1 million mix compilation albums in the UK with numerous top 5 UK Chart positions. He has held residencies in Ibiza, Ministry Of Sound in London and BCM in Mallorca.
