Chrissie is the author of the Kelly Family Trilogy and a Christmas novella about Linwood colliery rows, ‘The Unwelcome Angel’. Her previous novels are ‘ A Jarful of Moondreams’ and ‘The Barn of Buried Dreams’, both of these are contemporary fiction and set in Northumberland.

Chrissie will be bringing copies of the Kelly Family Trilogy and 'The Unwelcome Angel' to sell and sign on the day.

It’s Never Too Late –

A motivational talk emphasising that, regardless of age or past circumstances, it is always possible to make positive changes, pursue long held dreams or try something new.

Chrissie will illustrate this with her own writing journey and the characters in her books.

Biography

Chrissie Bradshaw, 2016 winner of the Romantic Novelists’ Association Elizabeth Goudge writing trophy, lives on the Northumbrian coast in a beautiful part of the country near to the Scottish/ English border.

Chrissie's contemporary and historical novels are set in this area yet they have a universal appeal. Any reader who enjoys reading about families, love and relationships will enjoy her heartwarming stories full of characters who struggle with work, love and family.

She has always loved match-making a book to a reader. Writing the kind of book she loves to read takes this a step further. When Chrissie is not writing or reading, you will find her walking her dog Oscar on the beach, travelling and spending time with her family and friends.
