Event Details

Dear friends and colleagues,

We would like to invite you to the next Beds Talk event.

Developed as part of our strategic commitment to public engagement with research and knowledge exchange, Beds Talks are designed to bring together the public with researchers and practitioners on topics of mutual interest.

The event is called Autism and Social Communication – where do we go next? We will explore possibilities for the ways in which we could use some of the latest research in homes, schools and the NHS. We will also discuss some of the questions around this kind of research such as the use of technology and how we can develop therapeutic interventions.

The talk is open to all staff, students, the general public and, in particular, anyone whose lives have in some way been influenced by autism and/or social communication difficulties. The talk will be presented by Dr Suzanne Murphy (Principal Research Fellow in Social Communication) and Dr Chris Papadopoulos (Principal Lecturer in Public Health). Please help us spread the word about this event.
