Surrey Cricket, in partnership with local business, is once again running a schools cricket programme in Woking in honour of Alec and Eric Bedser.
Aim: This programme aims to identify, through the process, 6 children who have the potential to become performance cricketers. 6 scholarships will be awarded annually to children who are educated in Woking and are not currently in the SCCC player pathway. 48 scholarships have been awarded since 2013.
Criteria: This programme is open to all children aged between 8-15 years old and who attend a state school in Woking. The children progressing to the assessments must not currently be involved in the SCCC player pathway programme.
There will be limited kit available so please bring any that you have along with you (hard ball clothing). Training and sports kit should be worn.
Places are limited and they will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
