Every first Sunday, Martina offers a blissful, relaxing and nourishing hour of vibrational sound. The evening begins with a short poem or an inspirational quote, followed by 45 min of uninterrupted soothing sounds. This is the perfect session to process anything that came up for you over the weekend, and to set new, powerful and clear intentions for the week ahead.
This is a virtual session which you can join from the comfort of your home - or anywhere with an internet connection. Here are a few tips for making the most of your virtual experience:
* Listen with high quality headphones or a good sound system
* Make sure you'll be warm and comfortable with a blanket and pillow
* Use an eye mask to go deeper into the experience
* Limit distractions as much as possible
* Allow yourself to simply receive the sound and see where it takes you
You might be wondering if a virtual sound bath works in the same way as a live one. They are different experiences, but we know from stories of the hundreds of people who have come to our online events that the virtual format can be just as relaxing and profoud. That's because of the incredible effect sound has on the brain. The sound of the gong can entrain your brainwaves to a relaxed and restorative state where healing can occur. All you need is to pop in your earbuds, find a comfy place to lie down, close your eyes, and let the sound carry you away...
Who is leading the session?
This sound journey is led by Martina Saorin, one of the first practitioners on the GONG team. Martina is 200hrs certified yoga teacher, specialised in Hatha Yoga as well as being an Advanced Yin Yoga teacher, Restorative Yoga Teacher, Level 3 Reiki Master, and a Sound facilitator. She trained with the highly respected Don Conreaux, The Tone Of Life in Poland, and Sheila Whittaker in London. She feels so blessed to have found another modality that truly resonates with her and has been studying Sound Therapy with the British Academy of Sound Therapy (BAST) in UK since April 2018.
