Learn about how to make your garden more bee friendly: local Bee expert Mark Patterson shares his knowledge of threats facing London's pollinators and how everyone can help them by choosing the right plants for their gardens. Includes a free goody bag to help you create a buzz at home.
Mark grew up in the Northeast and took an interest in nature and the environment from a young age. After studying ecology at University Mark has had a career spanning 17 years working for wildlife charities, local and national government and now works as a part time bee inspector for DEFRA whilst running his own business Apicultural.
Mark is a trustee for the London Beekeepers Association, sits on the British Beekeepers Association special interest group on forage and leads on planting initiatives for pollinators in London.
