Description
The BeefQ project, led by IBERS at Aberystwyth University in collaboration with industry partners, is conducting this research in order to develop a beef eating quality assessment system for Wales. You can be one of 1200 people invited to take part in BeefQ consumer taste panels in 20 events across Wales and England, the data from which will contribute to the development of this system. A tasting event will take place at The Restaurant in Pembrokeshire College on Wednesday, 13th November and will last one approximately 1 hour. You will be presented with 7 samples of cooked meat and asked to score them according to tenderness, juiciness, flavour and overall liking, as well as your willingness to pay for eating quality in beef. Consumers should be of a broad demographic, aged 18-70 and be regular consumers (at least once every 2 weeks) of beef (cooked medium).
