And kids under the age of 18 get free entry, when accompanied by an adult.

The highlight of our year is the annual Brewery Birthday Party. This year “BEER ON THE COMMON” (previously known as "Beer By The River") returns to Tooting Common on the 9th September from 12pm until 10pm.
BEER (plus Cider, Pimms and more)
Our beer list for 2017 is being carefully compiled by our very own beer sommelier Jamie, and the full list will be available for download here later in of August. We're planning to showcase about 70 different beers from around 20 of our favourite breweries from across the UK. Plus we'll have the entire range of Sambrook's beers - both cask and keg.
Featured breweries from across the UK will include: Acorn, Binghams, ELB – East London Brewery, Gadds, Hammerton, Harveys, Ilkley, Long Man, Old Dairy, Rebellion, Redemption, Southwark, Surrey Hills, Tiny Rebel, Twickenham and Westerham.

PILANGO CIDER: we are delighted to have Pilango on board bringing us "a flamboyant cider butterfly, turning heads, galvanizing taste buds, collecting and creating distinctive ciders for curious drinkers."
***Plus*** there will be a range of other drinks (Pimms anyone?) including soft ones available for the non beer drinkers in your famliy, clan or group.
MUSIC
Having collaborated with our friends at Flying Vinyl for their festival back in April, Craig and his team of music nuts are helping us to get some of the best up-and-coming London artists. Plus we will have DJs Maruader Sound System on the decks.
This year’s lineup brings an eclectic mix of new music from Sassy Punk and Dark Dream pop to Alternative Rock and Folk, there is something for everyone, just make sure you have brought your dancing shoes:

FOOD
Festival goers will not go hungry with our great street food selection including the popular Liberty Cheesesteak Company bringing Philly Cheesesteaks to South London, Piccadilly Pies from our friends at the Queen’s Head pub in Piccadilly, Burritos, Burgers, and not to mention a great selection of desserts from Dee Light Bakery in Balham.
VR (Virtual Reality)
Virtual Reality has arrived – come and try the future with the world’s most advanced VR entertainment system. The games allow you to play with your friends in the same world. Rated 5 stars across the board. There will be 4 VR games to choose from. All players age 6+. FAQs - part 1 (the key things to note)
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? No - BOTC is family friendly.
Are children invited? Absolutely, and kids under the age of 18 get free entry. Our festival is a fun festival for the whole family and there will be a selection of children’s activities during the day including inflatables, face painting a virtual reality experience and a selection of lawn games.
Can I bring my dog? Absolutely, we are a dog friendly event and encourage all well-behaved dogs on leads, to join the fun with us!
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event? We are holding Beer on the Common on Tooting Common. The site is located on the Western end of Tooting Common, near the corner of Dr Johnson Ave and Tooting Bec Rd. HERE's a handly Google Map of the location.
The nearest tube stops are Tooting Bec and Streatham and the event entrance is just off Dr Johnson’s Avenue about 10 minutes’ walk from each tube station and will be well signposted. Beer on the Common Location By public transport you can arrive via:
TRAIN: Balham Rail Station (20 min walk) or Streatham Hill Rail Station (25 min walk)
TUBE: (Underground): Tooting Bec Tube Station (10 min walk)
BUS: you can catch the 249 between Clapham Junction and Anerley or the 319 that runs between Sloane Square and Streatham.
Can I bring a picnic? Outside food and drink will not be allowed to be bought in to the festival. There will be a large selection of food available to purchase at the festival. We reserve the right to run bag checks on entry to the site.
