Thu 13 April 2017, 18:00 – 21:30 BST
Kuuki is an exhibition which aims to blur the line between art and activisim, highlight issues concerning the environment and raise awareness, through art, of the impact that pollution has on the world.
Throughout the exhibition there will also be pop-up events occuring, including the screening of Before the Flood.
Researcher, writer and journalist on oil, gas and energy, Nikki Jones, will be giving a small talk before the screening to educate the audience on the issues highlighted within the film and will also be answering questions after the film.
The doors will open at 6pm to allow everyone to get a drink and snack* and to get comfortable before Nikki Jones' talk beginning at 6:30pm.
The film will last about 1hr 30, and will be followed by an opportunity to ask Nikki any questions regarding the topic.
The approximate finishing time will be 9:30pm.
The event is free, however donations are more than welcome. The donation will go towards Nikki Jones' chosen charity SolarAid; an international charity that combats poverty and climate change and provides access to solar lights in some of the most remote regions of the world.
*Drinks and snacks will be provided*
