Beginner watercolour class with Lelanie Slater

Experience the joy that is watercolour in this beginner taster session with Lelanie Slater. During the two and half hours, Lelanie will introduce techniques you will use time and again. Lelanie will show you a selection of images from which to create your own seasonally inspired print to take home.

No experience necessary. Suitable for age 14+, under 16s accompanied by adult.

All equipment is provided by the event sponsor Bromleys Art Supplies. Bromleys will also provide a 10% discount code to use after the event.

Duration 2.5 hours

This event will happen at Belong, on Palantine Road in Didsbury. Buses stop on Palantine Road and Barlow Moor Road.

Limited parking is available at Belong at the rear, off Spath Road (please ensure you don't use the spaces reserved for the nearby private flat residents). You can also park on Spath Road.

Belong has a security door so you'll need to buzz for entry. We'll be using an upstairs room accessible by lift and stairs. Look for the DAF signs when you arrive. We'll provide soft drinks, teas and coffees.

By supporting this event you will be helping the Didsbury Arts Festival continue its social impact arts projects with disadvantaged children and vulnerable people in Didsbury, Burnage, Withington and Old Moat, as well as produce the 9 day festival in summer 2026.
