The Northern Path are excited to offer you this brand new course which covers Xero Accounting Software for Beginners following AAT guidelines.
This is a 2 day course and is designed to provide you with a beginners guide to Xero but with the added benefit of having an AAT qualification (this is optional)
This is an ideal starting point for anyone who has not experienced Xero or used a computerised accounting software before.
It is also the ideal course for new business owners, entrepreneurs or users of Xero who need to know more about the software they are using in their business.
The purpose of this course.
Computerised accounting systems are widely used in business and other organisations. This course introduces you to the fundamental principles required to use a computerised accounting system.
You will develop the skills needed to set up accounts, record transactions for credit customers and suppliers, process receipt and payments for non-credit transactions. You will learn how to produce accounting reports such as a trial balance and customer / supplier activity reports.
There 4 learning outcomes in the Level 1 computerised accounts unit:
Create accounts using computerised software
Process accounting information using computerised software
Understand how to use batch control sheets
Produce reports using computerised software
Cost of the Course
The cost of this course is £350.00 + vat, this includes all your training material, if you choose to take the AAT Assessment and receive a professional qualification there are additional charges which can be paid when you attend the course.

Please note if you choose to take the AAT assessment there is also an Excel Spreadsheet task that must be completed. All the information and workbooks will be provided for this additional course which can be done at home.
About The Course Delivery
This course is delivered in a classroom with a dedicated trainer available throughout. The classroom course is followed by self-study elements to check your understanding and allow you to practice what you have learnt.
Please note: This course takes place over 2 Saturdays or a Thursday and Friday, please make sure you choose either the 13th May (which covers the 2 Saturday dates) or the 8th June (which covers the Thursday and Friday course).
You must attend both Saturdays or the Thursday and Friday sessions to receive a certificate of completion.

Delegates must be competent in using Windows and Internet Browsers.

What can I bring into the event?
If you have a laptop this can be brought with you, however we do have spares if you are unable to bring your own. Please let us know before the course date so that we can arrange this for you.
