Beginners Enamel Class

Join `Enamel Club at Edinburgh Open Workshop for out Beginners Enamel Class! This 2-day course will cover the basics of enamelling – covering the fundamentals of enamelling and some basic techniques to get you started on your enamelling journey!

Classes are taught by Elizabeth Jane Campbell - an award-winning enameller - who will guide you through the process, so no experience is necessary. You’ll be introduced to the history of enamelling, before learning some basic techniques such as sifting, sgraffito, stencilling, stamping, graphite, and the use of decorative solid glass.

By the end of the course, you’ll leave with an understanding of how to use enamel, a series of samples and test pieces, and a finished pair of earrings or a pendant. Perfect for a self-treat or a lovely gift!
