This session will be an introduction to online music teaching for complete beginners, with a focus on how to set up your equipment understand the basics of the technology used for online teaching. We will show you how to set up your computer, speakers and headphones for online teaching, explain some of the main technical limitations and possibilities to be aware of, and demonstrate some basic online teaching techniques you can use to get started. The session will be delivered over Zoom, but the basic set-up and techniques will apply to other online platforms as well (e.g. Microsoft Teams, Google Meets, Vscene)
