Beginners Knitting Workshop
Event Information
About this event
We're excited to be running our popular Beginners Knitting workshop to help you take that leap into learning to Knit in 2022.
Knitting is such a fun and versatile skill to learn and there are so many things that you can make once you've learnt a few basic stitches. It is also a great hobby to have to help you relax and look after your everyday wellbeing.
In this workshop we will start from the very beginning and you will learn all the basics including casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch and casting off using chunky needles and super chunky yarn. We will also introduce you to some simple patterns and send you off with all the skills and confidence you need to get started on a new project including links to our handy video tutorials.
All materials are included .
The workshop is suitable for complete beginners or those wanting to refresh their skills.
Tea, coffee and sweet treats are included. Please bring your own reusable mug if you wish.
This workshop also makes a great gift, just print the ticket once purchased and pop it in a card!
