A 5 week beginners course introducing and consolodating all the basics of a Kundalini Yoga practice. Suitable for men and women of all ages, abilties, shapes and sizes who are interested in experiencing this incredibly empowering technology as taught by Yogi Bhajan.

You do not need to be fit, bendy, young, strong or instagram-ready to do yoga. Kundalini Yoga is a personal practice, and your experience will always be unique. It works on strengthening your lymphatic, immune, circulatory and digestive system, as well as helping to balance your mental and emotional health by de-cluttering the sub-conscious mind, letting go of patterns which do not serve you, and connecting your sense of self with your soul purpose. The word 'yoga' means to 'yoke' or 'unite' mind, body and soul, and these three aspects are worked on simultaneously in a complete Kundalini Yoga class.

Kundalini Yoga involves using the breath, mantra, movement, asana, mudra, meditation and inner focus to awaken, move and renew energy within your mental, physical and spiritual bodies. A Kundalini Yoga practice is done mostly with the eyes closed and going at your own pace whilst focusing inwards and following instructions. You will be guided step by step through the exercises and you simply do your best, let go and surrender to the process.

Please understand that doing your best in a Kundalini Yoga class (whatever that may be - even lying still and focusing on the breath) is always good enough to transfom and recalibrate the energy in stagnant areas of your life and instead direct and channel this renewed energy where you want and need it most in your life right now.
