THIS IS A 3 WEEK COURSE STARTING MONDAY OCTOBER 6TH UNTIL 2OTH OCTOBER
Join Local Artist Dawn Smallwood to learn how to create autumn themed photo collages and mixed media using your phone camera and a variety of art mediums.
You will start Week 1 by participating in a mindful outdoor Photography walk to take digital photographs of the local scenery and objects and embrace Autumn. You can either use your phone camera, another digital camera you may have or you can borrow one of our ipads.
You will then be introduced to creating digital photo collages using double exposure, composition and filters on an app.
In the following weeks you will begin to create mixed media pieces using your photograph collages and be guided through using a variety of art mediums and upcycled materials.
Dawn will be sharing invaluable tips throughout including colour theory that can used for collage and mixed media art and you will leave with finished collages to take home with you.
All materials are included and you will leave with your completed collages and all the skills and confidence to carry on creating at home.
The course is suitable for complete beginners or those wanting to refresh their skills.
Hot drinks and biscuits are included.
To ensure this Beginners Photo Collage Course is accessible to everyone we have made it Pay What You Can for the 3 week Course.
