About the Facilitator
Fathima Hakkim is an architect-turned-illustrator and storyteller, born in India and based in London. She views the everyday through a poetic lens and transforms ordinary moments into evocative visual narratives. Fathima holds a Master’s in Children’s Book Illustration and Graphic Novels and has authored and illustrated children’s books—including The Royal Spy: Fluency 8—while also contributing to multicultural storytelling through immersive, relatable imagery . Her work explores themes of femininity, vulnerability, and imperfection, and she has exhibited across India and the UK. As an educator, she empowers others—having led 60+ workshops globally and counting—to discover and express their creative voices.
