Beginners Pottery Workshop at Harehope Quarry

Ever fancied trying your hand at pottery? Join us for a free Scotmid Members workshop in the beautiful surroundings of Harehope Quarry, where you’ll learn how to sculpt and decorate your very own ceramic Green Man.

👨‍🎨 What you’ll do:

• Hand-build your Green Man using earthenware clay
• Create facial features with simple pottery techniques
• Experiment with a variety of underglazes to add colour
• Your piece will then be fired, glazed and weatherproofed — ready to take home!

🎒 What to bring:
This is a messy session, so please wear suitable clothing and bring an apron if you have one. Bring a packed lunch — drinks, snacks, clay, tools and glazes will all be provided.
