Welcome to Beginners Sewing - Pumpkin Making!

Join us for a fun and creative session where you'll learn the basics of sewing while making adorable fabric pumpkins! This hands-on workshop is perfect for those new to sewing or looking to brush up on their skills. All materials will be provided. If you have a sewing machine then do bring it along. If not just let me know and I'll bring one you can borrow in the class. Most of the sewing involved will be handstitching.

Frequently asked questions

Is parking available?

Yes, there is limited parking off the road just outside the Memorial Hall. On-street parking is also available. Vehicles are parked at the owner's risk.

What is your refund policy?

Bookings cannot be refunded within 14 days of the workshop. Please note Eventbrite fees are not refundable.

What happens if the workshop is cancelled?

If the workshop is cancelled, the event organiser will inform you as soon as possible and you will be given a full refund or a credit for another workshop if preferred.

How do I access the venue?

Please come through the side entrance of the Memorial Hall. Just inside the door, there is a lift that you are welcome to use to transport heavy items. The class will be held in the Centenary room upstairs.

I don't have a sewing machine - can I borrow one?

I have a couple that can be borrowed in class. If you have your own then, please do bring it to get familiar with it. If you don't have one just let me know in advance of the class. Most of the sewing involved will be hand stitching.
