Is silver clay real silver?

Yes, the clay is made up of fine silver particles mixed together with an organic binder. When the clay is fired the binder burns off and the silver particles 'sinter' which means they join together to form hard metal which is 99.9% pure silver.

Do I need any experience of working with silver clay?

No, the taster classes are suitable for beginners with no previous experience.

Do I need to be artistic or creative?

No, we will provide tools and accessories which make designing your piece very easy and our instructor will be on hand with support and encouragement if you need help.
