Will children be allowed to attend the classes?

Accepted Answer

The class is for over 10's only, but don't worry, if you have under 10's that would love to get involved, you can order a take-away kit and have a fun time at home teaching them everything you learned in the class, I'll even send you the Powerpoint presentation to follow step-by-step!

What will we be doing in the class?

Besides having some fun! We will be working through step-by-step guide on how to decorate your cookies using some basic royal icing techniques

Can I purchase any kits to take home?

Accepted Answer

Yes! At check-out you will be offered the opportunity to purchase additional kits to take-home and show off your new cookie decorating skills to the family! I'll also send out the PowerPoint presentation to anyone who wants it so you can follow the same step-by-step process you will be in our class

Question 4

Where will the class be held?

Accepted Answer

We will be in the Lenham Suite at the Mercure Great Danes Hotel in Maidstone. Practically next-door neighbours to Leeds Castle! Parking is free, and there is a bar for any refreshments you might want to purchase

Can kids attend the class?

Accepted Answer

Our classes are for over 10's, and anyone under 14 needs to be accompanied by an adult taking the class too, but over 10, anything goes! Our take-away kits are perfect for the kids at home that want to get involved! Have some family fun at home teaching them all your newly learned skills!

Question 6

What do I need to bring?

Accepted Answer

You! We will provide everything you need for the class, including the cookies. If you feel like you might be a bit of a messy decorator, feel free to bring an apron along. I will have a supply of latex gloves to hand too if anyone requires them.

What will I leave with?

Accepted Answer

New memories and skills! But if that's not enough you'll also get to take home your cookies (I'll provide the boxes), and goodie bags with my sugar cookies recipes, a free cookie cutter & a little gift from me

What happens if I pay for a class but can't make it?

Accepted Answer

We understand that life happens so that’s why we allow you to cancel up to 7 days before the class. You can always transfer your spot to a friend though (and what a nice friend you are). Any cancelation after the 7 days will be a class credit redeemable for up to 1 year from the credit issue date

Do I need to know how to bake?

Accepted Answer

Nope! No baking history required. We will have the cookies pre-made for you along with the icing already mixed and colored. Have a little decorating experience under your belt… er… apron? Come on too! I can help with questions on icing mixing and dough spread!
