The Buteyko Method was developed in the 1950’s by a Russian medical scientist named Professor K.P. Buteyko.

Professor Buteyko’s exhaustive research led him to discover, that several hundred chronic diseases could be scientifically explained as a consequence of habitually breathing above the physiologically recommended norm, or chronic hyperventilation (CHVS).

Buteyko's developed a measure for breathing known as the Control Pause - If you have a Control Pause of 60 seconds your have perfect breathing.

Many people today have a Control Pause of 20 seconds and less, therefore depending on genetic predisposition, typically suffer with chronic health problems, intermittently or continuously.

The more symptoms you have, the more ways your body tries to defend and compensate for the losses of CO2 due to chronic hyperventilation syndrome(CHVS).

Typically students experience improvement to their symptoms within the first few days of one Beginner Workshop.

Breathing disorders; asthma, bronchitis, COPD, bronchiectasis, emphysema and fibrosis.

Cardiovascular disease; high/low blood pressure, poor circulation, raynauds disease, heart problem, weak mitral valve, arythmia, tacycardia, varicose veins, thrombosis & cholesterol imbalance.

Digestive disorders; acid reflux, colitis, cramp, crohns disease, constipation, IBS, diverticulitis.

Hormonal disorders; PMT, menopause, diabetes, hypo/hyperglycemia, hypo/ hyperthyroid, and infertility.

Beginner Workshop

Taught LIVE Online via Zoom by a qualified Learn Buteyko Practitioner and supervised by a Senior Buteyko Practitioner.

Monday - Friday 7pm London time

5 sessions as follows

Monday at 7pm London time

Tuesday at 7pm London time

Wednesday at 7pm London time

Thursday at 7pm London time

Friday at 7pm London time

Each session is for 1-1.5 hours

Senior Buteyko Consultant Vladimir Sukhonosov and Practitioner Martha Roe offer Free Follow Up sessions monthly, for all Learn Buteyko students.

Learn Buteyko Online offers the classical approach to Buteyko Method developed by Professor Buteyko and are pleased to take on the most serious and challenging chronic health problems.

Your supervising practitioners are Senior Buteyko Practitioner Vladimir Sukhonosov, Christopher Drake and assisting practitioners are Martha Roe, Marcelle Adamson, Joe Morrell, Liora Friedmann and Eirini Dimitriou.

A desk top or laptop is the preferred device, though tablets and android phones are sufficient. Our video platform works with most systems such as Windows, Linux and Mac. If you don't arrive at the beginning of the 1st session, we will be in touch with you by phone.

The online beginner workshops are conducted on the "Zoom" video platform. The workshop instructions and LOGIN will be emailed to you.
