“Teach students how to do things right, don't just establish consequences for doing them wrong.”
A half-day workshop to practise key routines to maximise behaviour for learning.
As a tacher, it is key that you establish clear systems for your children to know what is expected of them in terms of behaviour. Without clear systems, children can be confused and low-level behaviour can kick in.
As a middle/senior leader, it is key that you establish a clear vision for what good learning behaviours look like. It is key, too, that systems are consistently applied across your school.
We will aim to get participants to get a clear understanding of what outstanding behaviour can/should look like and we will enable them to practise key techniques.
Who is it for?
- Teachers (to get first-hand experience of what strong routines look like)
- Middle and senior school leaders (to develop systems which will support teachers at all levels + to consolidate whole-school behaviour strategies focused on maximising learning time)
How much will the training cost?
£95 per delegate (resources + lunch included). Schools will be invoiced prior to the workshop.
Free for trainee teachers still looking for a teaching position for September 2017.
