  • Can we ‘nudge’ people to change their behaviour by redesigning supermarkets, restaurants and bars?
  • If so, how can we help ensure these changes are widely implemented?

A new four year programme of research will generate evidence on the promise of one set of interventions - altering cues in our immediate physical environments (“nudging”) – to change behaviour across populations to improve health for everyone. It will also investigate how to facilitate the implementation of evidence. A panel of those working on this new Wellcome Collaborative Award in Science will introduce the planned work and invite discussion.
