Following the succes of our first gathering back in June, this second workshop  aims to: 

- Provide brief updates on on-going work and new projects in behaviour change for dentistry; 

- Discuss NIHR's top priorities for oral and dental health research and how they can guide future research for behaviour change in dentistry 

- Discuss the current barriers and underlying difficulties in conducting research and how to overcome these barriers with NIHR's priorities in mind;

- Discuss different approaches and key projects that will allow to move forwards.

On the day, the majority of the time will be reserved for group discussions contrary to the previous workshop where presentations dominated the agenda.

The ultimate goal of this workshop is to build consensus and identify critical next steps and essential foci for the field. 

During the workshop, specific task-finish points will be discussed with people assigned to them. One key task will be the development of a position paper.
