Join us for a dynamic half day of learning where we delve into the transformative realm of psychology and its application in changing visitor behaviours. Uncover the shortcomings of current methods used in natural spaces and embrace principles laid down by experts. Backed by psychological research, the workshop seamlessly integrates theory and practice, empowering you to implement these principles effectively. Using engaging activities, participants will master the art of impactful interpretation principles.

Led by Brian Hepenstall, Education and Careers Manager at CIEEM (Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management). Brian was formerly a Ranger, a teacher, is a qualified Careers Advisor and is now rolling all of that into one role. He is also studying an MSc in Behaviour Change has become interested in how to use psychology to communicate with people, for example, in nature reserves, to try and change their behaviour using more evidence based methods.
