Event description

Description

*Do you want to understand more about why people behave how they do?

*Do you want to gain an insight into how to change behaviours?

*Do you want to know how to test whether your policy could result in behaviour change?

Then come along to hear Owain Service, Managing Director of the Behavioural Insights Team, talking to you about the EAST (Easy, Attractive, Social and Timely) framework for applying behavioural insights.

Behavioural insights are a way of understanding why people behave the way they do, based on a range of scientific disciplines such as psychology, sociology and cognitive science.

You’ll also discover how randomised control tests can be used to assess and adapt policy interventions.

Everyone in the Defra group is welcome to attend - behavioural insights are a valuable asset we can all use.

Registration at 09:15. Finish by 17:00.
