Event description

Description

Kingston Business School Behavioural Lab is a state-of-the-art facility which brings together scholars from behavioural economics, psychology, organisational behaviour, marketing and consumer behaviour. Lab affiliates study how individual, social, and organisational factors influence to human behaviour and decision-making. Topics studied are both at the forefront of current state-of-the-art behavioural research and of interest to the public.

They include (but are not limited to) customer loyalty, corporate social responsibility and cause-related marketing, the study of cooperation and conflict in the international business settings, and risk perception and human decision-making processes in the fields of public health and public policy.

To celebrate its inauguration, Kingston Business School organises a one-day symposium presenting advances in our understanding of human behaviour in the areas of consumer behaviour, behavioural economics and behavioural decision research. The symposium will also feature poster sessions, KBS lab research updates and taster sessions where guests can register to take part in an eye-tracking experiment, a behavioural study and a lab experiment.

The inaugural lectures are free but spaces are limited so booking is essential.
