Description

" The Changing Face of Safeguarding"

and will explore how professionals and the community can respond to risk and harm outside of the family context.

The day will bring together speakers to explore the following issues

  • County Lines and Criminal Exploitation
  • Cuckoo-ing
  • Peer on Peer abuse and sexualised bullying
  • Contextual Safeguarding- considering risks to adolescents outside the family home
  • Trauma informed work with young people
The day is aimed at a varied audience and is based on the belief that all sectors of the community have a role in safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Public transport - Worthing Central Rail Station 5 minute walk - Any Bus route to Worthing Town Centre including Coastal Routes all drop near the pier which is a 5 to 10 minute walk (0.4 mile)

Parking - Buckingham Road MSCP (10min walk) or High St - Guildbourne Centre MSCP (5min walk) - day rate over 5 hours £10

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No

Can I update my registration information?

Yes up to 6pm on 27th June 2018

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Yes but don't forget to update your registration with the transferee name & contact detail

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes, however the organiser must be alerted to the change as any non attendance default charges will be invoiced to the registered ticket holder.
