About this event

The moment we donned masks to navigate the complexities of work, seeking safety or conformity, is a shared experience for many clinicians. That pivotal time when wide-eyed enthusiasm transformed into the pursuit of perfection, comparisons, and the need to fit in. Masks, though initially a coping mechanism, can paradoxically liberate aspects of our true selves.

This 2-day mini-retreat is tailor-made for clinicians like you, offering a chance to unveil the masks, delve into their origins, and explore whether there's a more authentic version of you, waiting to step onto the stage. To beckon forth the emerging persona, poised to shape the next chapter of your career.

All will be set against the backdrop of beautiful Hawkwood College in Stroud. We knew we needed somewhere very special for our retreat, somewhere consciously non-clinical, full of heart and with its own stories. Hawkwood is not just a beautiful Victorian stone built house, but a welcoming home for all who visit. There are luxurious communal rooms, filled with books and comfy sofas, a 40-acre estate with ancient woodland to explore, and the food is absolutely sublime, with all diets lovingly catered for. It is a place people come to learn and create, but also a place for ideas, challenging dialogue, art and artistry, new understandings, personal growth and human development.

Get ready for a transformative journey of rediscovery, and revitalisation!
