Ever wondered what goes on inside that big grey building, West Yorkshire History Centre in Wakefield? Come and find out during Heritage open Days as we take you behind the scenes into our conservation studio and strongrooms which are packed with archive treasures from across the county and find out how we store and care for the documentary heritage of West Yorkshire. We will also have some 'architectural' archives on display to look at after the tour, including building plans and drawings.

Limited spaces on each tour. Wheelchair accessible.

Please meet in the foyer of West Yorkshire History Centre for a 10am start.
