Event description

Description

The RIBA library holds one of the most extensive collections of photographs of architecture and the built environment in the world, encompassing landscape, gardens and social history, and dating from the earliest days of photography. Some of the best known architectural photographers of the 20th century are represented. The curator, Valeria Carullo, will give an introduction to the library, the history of the collection and its uses and significance and produce a selection of photographs reflecting its richness and diversity. We will also have a behind-the-scenes tour of the photograph store.

Includes coffee, tea and biscuits.
